POD XT Project Part 5
A Look At Line 6 Guitar Port

Let's take a look what the Line 6 Guitar Port has to offer. At the top we can see in the example that it says Heavy Rhythm 2. This is just which tone is currently loaded. You can name your tones any name you want to.
Below that is the current amp settings. You can adjust those to your likings. Right below that is your amp models and cab models. If you click in the amp and cab model area a pop up will show:

You can choose from dozens of amp and cab models.
Below that to the left is all your effects, and other things plugged into the amp. You have to remember the point of the Pod XT is to simulate a real amp setting. Such as a rack unit going to an amp. If you click on each item you can change the settings.
Now if you have 'PLAYER' selected then you can load a backing track into Guitar Port and play along with your backing track through the device the Pod XT is connected to. Let's ssay you have your Pod XT is connected to an amp. Then when you play the backing track through Guitar Port you will hear it through your amp.
Now to the right you can see a picture of the bean version of the Pod XT. This is where you tweak the settings for recording purposes.
